Malai Tangri Kebab is one of our most special tandoori creations. At Flames & Grills By Tuli's, we take a whole chicken drumstick and stuff it with seasoned minced chicken, then let it soak in a rich, creamy malai marinade before it goes onto the char grill. The result is a tender, mildly spiced kebab with a beautiful smoky finish — this is a grilled specialty, not a curry.
Every piece is cooked to order over open flame so the outside picks up a light char while the inside stays juicy and creamy. It is a favourite for guests across northwest Calgary looking for something a little more indulgent from our tandoor.
The malai marinade — a blend of cream and mild spices — is what sets this kebab apart from our other tandoori favourites. It keeps the drumstick moist while the minced chicken stuffing adds extra texture and flavour in every bite. Gentle on the spice, big on flavour.
